Based on the traditional John Innes recipe, our peat-free compost combines loam, eco-compost, horticultural grit and John Innes fertiliser, with added biochar.
Each ingredient plays a part in creating a supportive growing medium. Loam helps retain moisture and nutrients, horticultural grit improves drainage, and biochar supports aeration and root development. A slow-release feed supplies essential nutrients and trace elements for up to 12 weeks.
